Brown & Watson International Appoints New CEO

Brown and Watson International Pty Ltd, the company behind leading automotive component brands Narva and Projecta, has appointed George Davies to the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Davies takes over the role from Bob Pattison who has accepted the CEO position with the Automotive Division of GUD.

Most recently Mr Davies was Executive General Manager at Brown and Watson and prior to that filled the role of Marketing Manager. In total he has worked with the company for 15 years, where he first started in a sales and marketing role with the Projecta brand.

Mr Davies said he was excited about the promotion and that he was focused on further growing the Narva and Projecta brands in their respective markets, through the delivery of new and innovative products to customers.

“There are a lot of changes currently occurring in our industry providing new opportunities to progressive companies such as Brown and Watson,” Mr Davies said. “We’ll be investing in research, new technology and new innovations to maintain our position as a leader in the industries we operate within. We’ve recently established an innovation department and appointed an innovation manager with a view to staying at the forefront of technical developments,” he said.

Mr Davies commented that the company was working towards a new five year strategic plan aimed at increasing sales along with further improving the quality and performance of Narva and Projecta products, which already enjoyed a premium reputation in the market.

“Narva and Projecta customers can look forward to a continuous cycle of product improvements and the release of new technologies all of which will be available through a broader range of outlets and backed by high levels of service and support,” he said.
