Narva Grows ‘ALS’ Range with New Rechargeable L.E.D Inspection Lamps

With the first of Narva’s ALS (Advanced Lighting Systems) range hitting stores earlier this year, the company is now expanding this innovative range with the launch of two new heavy duty, Lithium-powered, rechargeable L.E.D Inspection Lamps.
Both lamps feature a compact and sleek design yet boast a crisp white light output of 200 Lumen (71460 model) and 500 Lumen (71462 model), courtesy of their high efficiency COB L.E.D’s. As an added bonus, each lamp also includes a 100 Lumen torch function cleverly integrated into the bottom of the handle.
To ensure their suitability for workshop environments and outdoor leisure pursuits, the lamps are fully sealed, and dust and water-resistant to IP65, while the use of hardwearing plastics in their constructions means they will last in demanding conditions. For operator comfort and added grip, the lamps also benefit from a non-slip finish.
For increased versatility, the lamps include a pop out, 360° swivel hanging hook and a 180° rotating bracket with powerful magnet. This provides the operator with a hands-free light, whether working under the bonnet or using the lamps across a range of other trade or home DIY applications.
Complementing their high light output and functionality, the lamps enjoy generous operating times of 2.5 hours; the larger 71462 model also has a low output mode which increases its battery life to 5 hours.
Recharging time for the lamps is only 2-3 hours and can be done via the included USB lead. Lamp No. 71462 also comes with a convenient charging dock fitted with a magnetic base to allow for easy charging in a wider range of spaces.
To ensure that the operator isn’t left without light at an inconvenient time, both lamps are equipped with an intelligent battery gauge to keep tabs on battery status. The Narva product team has also put thought into making the lamps easy to locate in darkness or dim light by including a glow-in-the dark face.
