Narva Utility Bar Range: Built for Australia’s Toughest Conditions
— April 16, 2025 | 2 min read
At Narva, we understand the unique challenges faced by municipal fleets, the trucking and transport industry, and mining operations across Australia. Harsh environments demand durable and versatile solutions, and that’s exactly what our Utility Bar Range delivers. Designed and assembled right here in Australia, these mining and utility bars are the perfect blend of rugged construction, adaptability, and high performance.

Built to Last: Rugged Construction
When it comes to withstanding Australia’s toughest conditions, the Narva Utility Bar Range stands in a league of its own. Each bar is crafted from black anodised extruded aluminium for superior resistance to corrosion and wear, while all hardware and fittings are stainless steel to ensure long-lasting durability. The clever two-piece construction provides easy access to the internal wiring harness, making it simple to service existing components or add new ones as needed—offering unmatched flexibility for future upgrades. Every bar comes equipped with a 4m PVC tube wiring harness, and for harsher environments, a nylon corrugated version is available as an optional accessory for added protection.
Customisable Options: The Widest Range
The Narva Utility Bar Range is built for versatility, with a variety of configurations tailored to the demands of municipal fleets, transport operators, and mining environments. Customers can select from Narva’s industry-leading range of primary warning lights—including LED rotating beacons, strobe/rotators, and light boxes—to ensure maximum visibility and safety. Reverse alarms are available in standard or squawk tone options, balancing regulatory compliance with reduced noise disturbance. Each bar comes standard with the powerful 73604 LED work lamp, while other Narva work lamps can be specified to suit unique applications. To enhance functionality and meet legal standards, all bars now include ADR-approved front indicator and position lights. While the standard bar measures 1.2 metres, custom-built 1.5-metre options are also available, allowing full integration with Narva’s extensive emergency lighting portfolio.

Enhanced Safety: Reverse Alarm Relay
Safety is a top priority in every work environment, and the Utility Bar Range takes it to the next level with a reverse alarm relay (68062). This clever feature turns off the reverse alarm when the beacon isn’t in use—ideal for reducing noise during late-night operations. For 24V applications, the relay can be adjusted or replaced to suit specific needs.
Designed for Municipal, Transport, and Mining Applications
Whether you’re outfitting a council vehicle, a utility truck, or a mining fleet, the Narva Utility Bar Range offers a robust, customisable solution that meets the demands of the job.
