— May 12, 2023 | 2 min read
Introducing the NARVA EX2 range of driving lights, which has been designed with the DIY 4WD enthusiast in mind, and is also ideal for a wide range of fleet and transport applications.
The EX2 range provides EXceptional performance, making it the best value for money driving light on the market! The EX2 range is available in a variety of sizes, including 9", 7", 6", and 4" options, each of which use a Hybrid Beam pattern that provides outstanding width and distance that delivers impressive raw and effective lumens. This pattern is optimised to provide a wider spread of light than comparable products, which ensures hazards can be identified earlier and therefore avoided, making for a safe driving experience.
The 9" pair produces up to 27,200 raw lumens or 19,400 effective lumens, the 7" pair produces 16,620 raw lumens and 12,000 effective lumens, the 6" pair produces 12,000 raw lumens and 9,200 effective lumens, and the 4" pair produces 6,590 raw lumens and 4,520 effective lumens. The efficient design of the EX2 lights mean that they deliver this performance with no dark spots or hot spots.
All EX2 driving lights feature patent-pending INTERNAL SWITCHING technology, which makes the installation an EXtra-easy process and eliminates the need for a separate wiring harness and in-cabin switch. This means there is no need to bring wires through the firewall or install a separate switch in the cabin. This makes the installation process faster, easier, and more convenient for
the user, and will also result in a cleaner and more professional-looking installation. The Internal Switching technology is a great feature that sets the NARVA EX2 driving lights apart from other
options on the market. This installation is road legal in all states apart from NSW and QLD. NSW and QLD installations simply need an easy to wire switch added.
EXceptional Build Quality:
NARVA takes quality and durability seriously with any NARVA product, particularly a NARVA Driving Light. The EX2 provides world-class durability and reliability. The use of UV-resistant hard coating and virtually unbreakable polycarbonate lenses ensure that the lights maintain their appearance over time, no yellowing, and resist damage from stones and other debris. This means that EX2 lights will maintain their signature looks and remain clear and bright, even after years of use.
Additionally, the style of the EX2 reduces the overall profile of the lights, which can be important for certain vehicles where space is limited. The NARVA EX2 driving lights are equipped with composite glass-filled nylon brackets that are both lightweight and strong. These brackets have been designed to provide increased resistance to vibrations, which helps to ensure that the lights
remain stable and secure even on rough terrain. In addition, the use of composite materials means that the brackets are highly resistant to corrosion and rust, which can be a problem with metal brackets over time. The EX2 range is fully sealed and waterproof to IP68 & IP69K, making them essentially impervious to dust, water and high-pressure washing. With all these benefits comes an incredible ‘no fault’ 7 year warranty for EXceptional peace of mind! A ‘No Fault Warranty’ means that if you believe it’s covered by warranty, we believe it too. For example, if you accidentally hit a kangaroo and break your EX2 light, NARVA will provide a replacement under warranty.
With EX2 comes a range of customisation options at no extra charge. This includes 8 interchangeable colour trims, with 2 options included in the box - the signature Electric (Blue) trims and the understated Slate (Grey), with 6 additional colour trims for customers to choose from including Sunburst (Yellow), Volcano (Red), Juiced (Orange), Hyper (Green), Bubblegum (Pink) and Stealth (Black), all of which can be redeemed online free of charge. The EX2 lights can be customised without the need for tools, allowing customers to change their looks to suit their mood.
The EX2 Range of driving lights is just the beginning of the EX2 family. Keep your eyes peeled for what is coming next to the range.
