Narva recognises this and with its new Generation II Performance L.E.D Globe Conversion Kits, has made it easier for owners of passenger cars, commercial vehicles, four wheel drive and even motorbikes, to reap the benefits of L.E.D globes.

Available in 12V/24V and in a wide range of globe types, the Generation II Performance Conversion Globe Kits project a crisp white light (5700°K) that provides impressive penetration down the road, and also delivers an extremely favourable colour rendering index, resulting in optimum depth perception for increased safety.

Output from the globes is up to 80 per cent greater than more traditional headlamp arrangements, and they also deliver up to 20 per cent more light output than Narva’s proven Ultima L.E.D Performance Globes.

And for the benefit of other road users, the L.E.D performance globes have a sharp, precise beam cut off that provides maximum output without dazzling oncoming traffic.

Another impressive aspect of the Generation II Performance Conversion Globe Kits is their durability. An external driver and adjustable heatsink provide superior cooling allowing the globes to run at peak performance for longer, even in demanding conditions, delivering over 30,000 hours’ run time* without the brightness diminishing over time.

The L.E.D’s inherent shock and vibration resistance characteristics also aids longevity.

Operators who fear that the high light output might come at the expense of a high current draw can rest easy knowing that the installation of a Generation II Performance L.E.D Conversion Kit will in fact reduce current draw by up to 80 per cent compared to more traditional headlamp globes.

For fast and easy fitment, the kits feature a removable locator ring, adjustable heatsink and an ‘adjustment ring’ which allows for in-vehicle adjustment to deliver the perfect beam pattern.

As well as the globes themselves, all Generation II Performance L.E.D Globe Conversion Kits include 2x 12/24V L.E.D T10 Globes (parking globes) and two external drivers, and are compatible with existing Narva Canbus Control Modules and Load Resistors. 

The kits are available for a wide range of globes including H1, H4, HB3, HB4, H7, H8, HIR2, H15 and H16. A selection of Resistor Modules and Canbus Modules to suit these globes is also available from Narva at additional cost.

New Performance L.E.D Signalling Globes

To complement the Generation II Performance L.E.D Globe Conversion Kits, Narva has released a new range of 12V/24V Performance L.E.D Signalling Globes.

These globes use filament style L.E.Ds, which research and testing has shown delivers optimum performance and compatibility with the globes’ reflectors, making them ideal for use with coloured lenses.

The signalling globes deliver similar performance benefits to their headlamp globe counterparts including a brighter light output at 2700°K for stop, stop/tail and indicator globes (6000°K for signalling), an 80 per cent lower current draw and improved durability.

The globes are designed to create an even, three-dimensional spread of light, avoiding blotchy projections and therefore increasing visibility for road users. They also provide a significantly faster actuation time than traditional incandescent globes for improved safety.

And when paired with L.E.D headlamps and number plate globes, the result is a stunning, uniform upgrade to the vehicle. Interior globes are also available as part of the new range, providing a premium colour finish for inside the vehicle.

Narva’s Performance L.E.D Signalling Globes range is available in a number of different diameter Wedge, Festoon and Bay globe types. Narva also offers suitable range resistors which are vital for when these globes are used for indicators.
