The Tasmania Super440 at Symmons Plains delivered another intense weekend of Supercars action, and for Tickford Racing, Cam Waters and Tom Randle showed plenty of determination and competitiveness across the event. While the weekend didn’t ultimately deliver a victory for the team, both drivers demonstrated strong pace and continued to keep Tickford firmly in the fight against a tightly contested field.
Waters once again showcased the aggressive driving style and consistency that has made him one of the category’s standout performers. Across the weekend he remained competitive in the midfield battle at the front end of the grid, continuing to extract strong pace from the Monster Energy Mustang around the tight and technical Symmons Plains circuit. His ability to stay in contention throughout the weekend highlighted Tickford’s ongoing speed and Waters’ determination to maximise every opportunity.
For Randle, Tasmania was another encouraging step forward in what continues to be a solid 2026 campaign. He showed promising qualifying speed and remained consistently competitive across the weekend, including securing a place inside the top 10 for Sunday’s grid.
Overall, the Tasmania round reflected the resilience and competitiveness of the Tickford Racing outfit. While the weekend belonged to the championship frontrunners, Waters and Randle both showed enough pace and consistency to suggest stronger results are well within reach as the Supercars season continues.
